Prerequisite: To be able to onboard merchants to Softpay you must first enter into a reseller contract with Softpay. If you do not have one, please contact sales@softpay.io
Once you're ready to start onboarding, there are two ways to onboard a new merchant, depending on whether you have access to MIA API Integration.
Option 1: Onboard via Onboarding API Integration
For merchant onboarding, you can use our Onboarding API . The process involves creating a new merchant record, stores, terminals and license order in our system using the API endpoints. An API integration allows instant deployment of new setups along with on-the-fly changes and branded communication to your merchants.
Option 2: No Integration — using an onboarding sheet
Initially partners may need to use manual onboarding to get going on e.g. pilot setups. This entails sending us an onboarding sheet with the necessary merchant information and we will handle the setup after receiving the file - usually within 8 business hours.
Please note that it is a default requirement for all partners to transition to API based onboarding.
